BELLA HOUSE WOMENS SHELTER
Last year we were approached to participate in Bella House, a design project with a difference. Carton Interiors was tasked to create two spaces for the residents of this Novas dedicated women’s shelter, one indoor room and one outdoor space. In collaboration with DFS and with help from Custom Walls Ireland who supplied the fabulous LondonArt wallpaper, Dulux who kindly donated all the paint, we worked with a host of behind the scenes helpers to bring the vision to life.
It was an emotional and memorable project, to create something meaningful from such tired and empty spaces. A true demonstration of how design can make a difference.
SHOWHOUSE SHOWDOWN TV3
In 2017 Jackie was chosen as one of the designers for TV3’s “Showhouse Showdown”! The Interior design show, presented by Neville Knott and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, features two new builds with two interior designers competing with the same budget to win the Target Market vote for the best interior on launch day. Despite strong competition, Jackie won across all four categories, marking a great end to an amazing experience.
